Mercedes is a Portland native with a degree in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Portland. Upon graduation in 2017, she joined Rubino, Skedsvold, Moran & Associates.

Mercedes first became interested in financial services after attending a financial professional panel. As Mercedes listened to each speaker, she understood the strong impact financial guidance can have and the importance of helping clients pursue their financial goals.

Fluent in Spanish, Mercedes was born into a multi-cultural family with strong roots in Hispanic culture, which comes from her mother who is originally from Central America.

Outside of work, Mercedes enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She and her husband are both avid Portland Timbers fans.
